I have had my eye on Australian designers for quite some time. Now they are making an even bigger impact in the US. I have seen Aussie designers' lookbooks all over fellow blogs.

I discovered Schakuhachi senior year of college, when I wore a risque (to say the least) black dress purchased from www.mycatwalk.com.au. I'm proud I was ahead of the trend, because now everyone is going crazy for this designer. I can't wait to buy these two dresses!

The messy Alexander Wang-plait is perfect with these looks.

Chanel Tweed

I have always loved the classic Chanel tweed jacket. Sadly, I cannot, and likely will never be able to, afford one.

I am trying to get the look for less, and will likely get this J. Crew jacket when it goes on sale. It's a modern version with the draping in front. The Marc Jacobs one is out of my budget even on sale, but it is so drool-worthy, I couldn't resist.

The Oscars of Fashion

The CFDA awards are one of my favorite fashion events. This year, Marc Jacobs won the award for best womenswear and Rag and Bone for menswear. Who What Wear Daily sent out this email about what the stars wore. (If you don't subscribe to Who What Wear, you are missing out.) Who's your favorite? Devon Aoki in Zac Posen is my best dressed, though Jessica Biel looks great in DVF.

It Drives Me Crazy

How annoyed are you when you have found the perfect item, but they sold out in your size? I have been looking for an animal print dress FOREVER, and I finally found a great one. It's even long enough for me, so my sister won't tell me my butt is hanging out!

There are no 2 bigger people in the fashion world than Karl Lagerfeld (of Chanel) and Anna Wintour (of Vogue). This is why I was shocked when I saw these caricatures of them- so disrespectful! And yet, hilarious.

Miley

I am not usually a Miley fan. Her voice drives me nuts, as well as her style. However, I am really feeling this look. I don't want to wear it, but she looks cute.
